AOC has introduced four new gaming monitors in its G2 series. The new models come in sizes of 60.5 cm and 23.8 inches (C24G2AE and C24G2U) and 68.6 cm and 27 inches (C27G2AE and C27G2U), respectively.
All four new monitors use a Full HD VA panel with a curvature of 1500 R, AMD FreeSync Premium support, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, an MPRT response time of 1 ms and built-in speakers (2×2 W). AE versions of the new monitors are more affordable, but do not have ergonomic adjustment characteristics, while the letter U in the name means a height-adjustable stand and a USB 3.2 hub with four USB ports.
Visually, the monitors come with a thin edge around the screen and red accents that accentuate the gamer’s purpose. The panel technology is VA, which means that they have an excellent contrast of 3000: 1, or 4000: 1 for larger 27″ models. A rich display of colors and a radius of curvature of 1500 mm should immerse players in the world of entertainment.
The combination of a quick screen refresh and FullHD resolution means you won’t have to buy the most expensive graphics card. If we add to all this AMD FreeSync, which harmonizes the screen refresh rate with the operation of the graphics card, you will have a constantly smooth and fluid image without tearing and shifting. All four models also come with the Motion Blur Reduction option.
While the AOC C24G2U and C27G2U have height, tilt, swivel and swivel adjustment options, the AOC C24G2AE and C27G2AE offer better value for money and support VESA mount. AOCs C24G2AE, C27G2AE, C24G2U and C27G2U will be available in September 2020.
