The probability that the asteroid will have any impact on the Earth is 0.41 percent.

An asteroid called “2018VP1” could enter the Earth’s atmosphere on November 2, although the chances of that are quite small, the American space agency NASA announced.
The diameter of this asteroid is 1.8 to 3.9 meters, so the asteroid is considered small. NASA said the probability of the asteroid having any impact on Earth is 0.41 percent, given that most asteroids burn up in the atmosphere.
The mentioned asteroid has already had several close encounters with the Earth, the first time in 1970, and the last time in November 2018, when it was identified at the Palomar Observatory in California, Business Insider writes. The space agency stressed that the exact size of the asteroid could not be determined until it approached Earth.
The Earth had the closest encounter with an asteroid called “2020 QG”, which passed at a distance of 2,945 kilometers above the Indian Ocean last week.
