Japanese scientists Hiroshi Ishiguro and Kohei Ogawa have created a robot named Erica.
Unlike humans, robots generally do not show emotions because they cannot feel them. Precisely because of this, they would think that there are certain jobs that robots simply cannot take over, but they should think again. The AI robot was chosen in Hollywood for the lead role in a Sci-Fi film.
This film will be supported by Bandit Capital Media, Happy Moon Productions and Ten Ten Global Media, and will contribute to a budget of $ 70 million for the production of this film, which is simply called “b”.
Although this is not the first time that a robot has been given a role in the film, it will be the first time that an AI robot has been chosen for the lead role, writes Ubergizmo. Japanese scientists Hiroshi Ishiguro and Kohei Ogawa created a robot named Erica and taught her to act by applying the principles and methods of acting to her AI.
According to one of the film’s creators, Sam Khoze, “In other acting methods, actors incorporate their life experiences into roles, and Erica has no life experiences. It was created from scratch to play a role. We had to simulate her movements and emotions through one-on-one sessions, such as the speed of her movements, talking about her feelings, and training her character development and body language. ”
The plot of the film is based on a scientist who discovered the dangers of a program he created to perfect human DNA, while helping the AI woman he created to escape. It will be interesting to see how this film goes and how convincing Erica will be in the role.Parts of the film were shot back in 2019, and the rest of the shooting is expected in Europe in June 2021.
